Surplus Lines Association of Washington Elects Board of Directors and Unveils New Brand at Annual Meeting

The Surplus Lines Association of Washington (SLA of WA) confirmed the election of its officers for the upcoming term at their 2026 Annual Meeting, including President Cristi Carrington, Vice President Gretchen Echelbarger, Secretary/Treasurer Katy Peterson, and Past President Connie Divelbiss. The Association also announced the election of two new members to its Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting held on March 5th. Estella Napoles of Allied World Insurance Company and Molly Jones of Ascot Group were elected to serve as Directors, bringing extensive industry expertise and leadership to the organization.

"Their deep knowledge of the surplus lines market and proven track records of excellence will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our organization and serve our members. Both bring unique perspectives that will help guide our strategic direction in the years ahead."
Napoles serves as Vice President at Allied World Insurance Company with extensive experience in excess casualty and underwriting. Jones brings valuable broker perspective to her current role as SVP of Partnership Engagement at Ascot Group.
The Annual Meeting also marked a significant milestone for the organization with the unveiling of its new brand identity, featuring a refreshed logo based on a guiding star motif that represents the Association's role as a constant guide and standard setter in the surplus lines industry. Additionally, the SLA of WA introduced its newly redesigned website.

The new board members will begin their terms immediately.
